Paper Proposals for 2026

The proposal period for the 2026 Summit will open January 1, 2026, and will close on Friday, May 15, 2026.

The committee is seeking papers that 1) advance their respective disciplines and 2) serve the church. Please read the full Paper Proposal Guidelines here before submitting a proposal. Papers should last only thirty minutes to allow time for Q&A. The BFS keeps a strict schedule to make certain presenters get Q&A time.

For the three years including 2025–2027, the Summit committee plans to give preference to papers intending to fit the theme Do you intend theme, “Biblical Theology and Its Intersection with Various Disciplines (Systematic Theology, Exegesis, Rhetorical Criticism, Discourse Analysis, etc.).”
